Ali Carney-Knisely

Ali Carney-Knisely was born and raised in South Burlington, Vermont. She recieved her BS in Studio Art, with concentrations in sculpture and textiles, from Skidmore College. Additionally, she has recieved her BS in Exercise Science from Skidmore College and her MS in Exercise Science from Mercyhurst University. 

 

With an interest in exercise physiology, she has been combining her knowledge of anatomy and physiology in her work. Her bodies of work include planar steel animal sculpture and steel with printed fabric sculptures based off yoga poses.
